How has your 10+ years of experience in modeling influenced your marketing career?

My experience in modeling gave me an understanding of the importance of branding oneself. I have been the face of various brands, representing their values and messages. This experience has honed my ability to align marketing strategies with the authentic representation of a brand.

Marketing trends are always evolving. How do you stay adaptable and ensure your strategies remain effective in a changing landscape?

In the fast-paced world of marketing, I prioritize learning and staying updated on industry trends through regular engagement with reputable marketing publications, attending relevant conferences, and participating in webinars. It’s helpful being in the beauty and fashion space because I’m naturally attuned to the latest industry and cultural shifts, emerging influencers, and evolving consumer behaviors and preferences. I love what I do, so it makes things easy! 

What excites you the most about working in the entertainment industry alongside your marketing expertise?

I have a deep love for the glamor and prestige of the entertainment industry, but I equally respect and admire the efforts put in by teams of talented individuals. It takes a team and a lot of hard work to make a final project look and seem so effortless.

Could you share insights into your time management strategies, especially considering your busy schedule, especially with becoming a mother?

Balancing my roles as a model and marketer while navigating the demands of motherhood requires meticulous time management. I prioritize tasks based on urgency and I’m extremely routine oriented. This may sound a little old school, but I am a big fan of paper and pen. I do have a notebook that I love with my little bejeweled pen that I use daily for all my tasks - it’s a game changer! 

Can you tell us about your beauty routine and any must-have products?

I am huge when it comes to skincare. I take a good 20 minutes every morning and 20 minutes before bed. I always start off with my Elemis cleansing balm, followed by my L’occitane moisturizer. Lastly, I always put on my Summer Fridays face oil. In terms of makeup routine, I can never leave the house without a bold, black eyeliner wing. That’s my go-to! 

How do you maintain your physical fitness and stay in shape while managing your busy career?

Health is my top priority! I've always been passionate about Pure Barre and Pilates, making a conscious effort to incorporate them into my routine wherever possible. With chaos of work and the responsibilities of being a new mom to a newborn, I practice self-compassion and find comfort in taking my baby on long walks while carrying weights.

How do you personally define success, and what does it mean to you in your professional journey?

I think finding the balance between achieving personal growth and making an impact in my professional life, is what matters most. In my professional journey, success is marked by my ability to inspire others, adapt to challenges, and inspire positive change while reaching new peaks. In my personal life, my greatest success to me has been being a mother. I never knew I could love so much.

In your opinion, what are the upcoming trends in both fashion and marketing that influencers should be prepared for?

In the fashion space, sustainability and inclusivity are so important, with consumers valuing authenticity. For influencers, authentic storytelling and transparent partnerships are most valued, audiences want to be able to deeply connect. In marketing, the rise of technology and interactive content is likely to redefine engagement strategies, requiring influencers to adapt and embrace these innovative tools for a more personalized audience experience. There are many new, great apps for video editing to create engaging content as well! 

How do you anticipate the role of influencers evolving in the next few years?

Audiences want genuine and insightful content that reflects the creator's authenticity. Consistency in content creation is major, and a notable trend involves influencers adopting a more informal and relatable approach by directly speaking to the camera and audience, proving to be a popular method. I don’t think the power of influencers will burn out, but adapt to new methods and trends that brands and audiences gravitate towards.
