The hospitality sector has seen itself weaken this past year, with a 66.3% drop in air passengers in 2020. However, the five-star hotels are anticipating the start of this new year, putting all the odds in their favor for many openings, with a view to increasing the flow of tourists and travel. Here are 10 of the most anticipated hotel openings.

Bvlgari Hotel, Paris

Following the various cities that hosted the Bvlgari Hotel in 2018, to name Milan, London, Bali, and Dubai among others, a new Bvlgari hotel will open its doors in Paris at the beginning of 2021, a further step towards increasing the collection of groups up to ten properties in 2023. Designed by the Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and the Parisian architects Valode & Pistre, the hotel places exclusivity and luxury at the heart of the entire experience. Located at 30 Avenue George V, one of the famous avenues of the Golden Triangle, comfort and entertainment like no other are guaranteed.

Aman, New York

Aman is appearing in New York for the group this spring. Located in one of the city's most monumental buildings, the hotel occupies what once housed the MoMa Museum of Modern Art: the Crown Building. Designed by Jean-Michel Gathy, Aman New York once again embodies the notions of comfort, elegance, and luxury. The hotel overlooks Central Park, located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 57th Street - a popular point in the city skyline.

Nobu Hotel, Marrakech

Known for its various luxury destinations, the Nobu Hotel is entering the market in Marrakech. Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid

The latest addition to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is located in the historic "Golden Triangle of Art" in Madrid. As the group prepares to welcome the future most luxurious hotel in the city, the restorations at the Mandarin Oriental Ritz celebrate and honor the inventive essence of hotelier Cézar Ritz. The Mandarin Ritz opens its doors to the public in the spring of 2021, currently accepting reservations from March 15, 2021.

NoMad, London

The NoMad, one of America's most renowned boutique hotel brands, is opening its first international property in London for its European debut. It resides in a historic Grade II listed building in the famous Covent Garden. The various themes of the place explore the artistic links between London and New York in collaboration with the interior design studio "Roman and Williams".

Four Seasons Hotel, Bangkok

Cheval Blanc, Paris

The Cheval Blanc, owned by LVMH, will open its doors this year in the heart of the Parisian city. Located on the banks of the Seine, the hotel joins monumental buildings reflecting the grandeur and sumptuousness of the city. Architects Edouard François and Peter Marino are inspired by an Art Deco atmosphere, to showcase French know-how through the creations and architecture of this haven of peace.

One & Only Portonovi, Montenegro

For the first time in Europe, One & Only is opening a new complex in Montenegro: the One & Only Portonovi. The Venetian-style palace overlooks the famous Boka Bay, nothing short of a dream location on the Adriatic Sea. The resort's official opening ceremony will take place on March 21 and will open to guests on May 1.
