Human Design: This is Behind the Spiritual Trend

The spiritual trend around human design is increasing more and more. But what is human design and what does it say about me?

Human Design is a spiritual system that shows each person their personal and energetic essence. With this knowledge we gain an individual strategy for our life path. Human Design helps us realize who we really are.

The way we manage our lives varies and is unique from person to person. Be it challenges, projects, relationships with other people or decisions we make: every person acts in different ways based on their skills, talents, knowledge and ultimately their nature. This makes our world more colorful and diverse.

The system consists of elements of esotericism, astrology, Kabbalah , I Ching and chakra theory. But genetics, biochemistry and quantum physics are also taken into account.

How does human design help us?

Sometimes we get stuck in situations, don't know what to do or feel lost. We often compare ourselves with others and do not understand why something works better or worse for others than for ourselves. Human Design helps us to understand why we are in the situation and how we can get out of this situation. If we live in harmony with our Human Design Type , many things become easier for us and we are happier and more satisfied overall.

From birth, every person has very specific potentials, energies, behavior patterns, intrinsic motivations and motives for life that do not change over the course of life. If you are aware of what makes you tick, you can specifically promote these characteristics and habits and use them in such a way that our life path harmonizes with them.

This system is actually already anchored in us as children . But over time, experiences, bureaucratic hurdles, blunt arguments, or society and external influences force us into a uniform adjustment. We have to bend ourselves into something we are not and with which we are not comfortable. Human Design brings us back to our origins, to our own authentic personality.

Specific characteristics can be seen on the Human Design Chart.

How does human design work?

Using various data - such as the place, day and exact time of our birth - a Human Design Chart is created and our personal Human Design type is determined.

There are 5 different types:

  • Projector: They are the perfect coordinators. Projectors see through people and systems immediately and are good at creating goals and objectives.
  • Generator: They are hard-working, do-it-yourself types and create work that is too much for others. If they enjoy their work, they have an incredible amount of energy.
  • Manifestor: Manifestors are alpha animals. They are brimming with authority and assertiveness.
  • Manifesting Generators: The Manifestor's impatience and the Generator's eagerness to work are just two of the many mixed characteristics of the Manifesting Generator.
  • Reflector: Reflectors are almost as rare as unicorns in the world. They are very sensitive and perceive external influences and energies particularly strongly.

You can also find the nine centers on the Human Design Chart.

These are:

  1. Crown Center : Inspiration, Thinking
  2. Ajna Center : Mind
  3. Throat center : expression, transformation
  4. G-Center : Identity
  5. Heart Center : Ego, willpower
  6. Spleen Center : instinct, immune system
  7. Solar Plexus/Emotional Center : Feelings, emotions
  8. Sacral Center : expressiveness, vitality
  9. Root center : strength, energy

These nine centers are connected by 36 channels and marked on the chart as different colored lines: The black lines mean that we can perceive these channels in ourselves. We are not aware of the red channels and are perceived by others (and we are only aware of them when they are communicated to us). Red-black dashed lines show a mix of both.

"Follow your strategy, honor your authority, love yourself." - Ra Uru Hu (Founder of Human Design)

The channels also connect the 64 human design gates . The nine centers contain numbers that can be assigned to the goals. If they have a colored background and an active channel connects two opposite gates, you can see even more specific characteristics of the character.

Further properties can be seen from the 6 lines and 12 profiles . A profile consists of 6 lines. The first number is conscious and the second number is unconscious. The lines come from the hexagrams of the I Ching (ancient Chinese oracle) and reflect the person's role in his life. A profile combines two characteristics and results in a combination of two numbers (e.g.: 5/1 the researching hero).

The 6 lines are:

  • Line 1 – Researcher, stable foundation, security, strives for knowledge
  • Line 2 – Hermit, natural talents, needs retreat
  • Line 3 – Activist, keen to experiment
  • Line 4 – Networker, social contacts are very important
  • Line 5 – Heretic, problem solving and a strong sense of support
  • Line 6 – Role model, seeks meaning and fulfillment in life

Human Design focuses on personality development. And this spiritual tool hits the nerve of the times for a happy and contented life.
