Nicolas Ghesquière has just undertaken a ten-year expedition to the heart of Louis Vuitton , and the story continues as the artistic director recently announced that his contract for the French House had been renewed . With a decade of personal archives of his work at Louis Vuitton , the designer began another journey, this time temporal, where memory guides the imagination. An exploration of interiority, where memories are made of layers of emotions, reflections, references... "It's an evening full of meaning" , wrote the designer in the show notes - a letter to the public slipped into an envelope left on each seat, recalling the joy of his first fashion show for the brand on March 5, 2014 . This is how Nicolas Ghesquière decided to follow his own North Star, a beneficial compass for astonishing travelers. A stylistic pole star, which gives the right direction and light, which ensures the stability of a vocabulary built over ten years where the creator draws on his own intertextuality to continue the journey.

Presented in the Cour Carrée of the Louvre, an emblematic location for the LV fashion shows, where the artistic director unveiled his first collection for Louis Vuitton , the fall-winter 2024-2025 collection plays with familiar codes, revisited, contemporary, in pure DNA Nicolas Ghesquière . We discover voluminous mini-skirts, shimmering dresses, jackets encrusted with jewels, light and transparent pants, prints recalling the trunk-making expertise of the House, cozy fur mittens, knit hats with a flat pleat rebounds with its approach, ovoid bags, interstellar trunks, but also futuristic volumes and innovative cuts which bring past, present and future into conversation by deploying themselves in so many noble materials and references from yesteryear—chaquetillas jackets in brocade or peplum skirts with sequins at the top. On the catwalk, the most prominent models responded: Mona Tougaard , Rianne Van Rompaey , Jung Ho-yeon , Loli Bahia , but also K-Pop star Felix Lee .
