The New Instagram Couch Everyone is Obsessing About
After a long year of lockdown and with no signs of stopping, even shopping is starting to lose its original taste. Why bother buying glamorous high-heels if the only moment to wear them is to go from bedroom to kitchen? What to do with a shiny mini dress if the only occasion to sport it is to lay aimless on your bed? In short, expect some fun vibrant pajamas or very comfortable tracksuits that have been bored bought, our baskets are empty and our wishlist had been reduced to almost nothing. On the other hand, buying is so exciting that for the shopaholics that we all are, living without seems impossible; the little adrenaline rush that follows an impulsive purchase is inestimable, nothing can take away that feeling of satisfaction.
By removing clothes, shoes, and accessories from the list of necessities, what is left? A dim light on the horizon: design. In fact, it's becoming more and more fashionable to buy cool, Instagram-ready, objects for the house (since we are now spending most of our days there). Among mirrors, vases, and kitchen furniture, home shopping is the new frontier of cool people. The advocate of this new obsession is, of course, Instagram, which daily shows dream houses and enchanting apartments on our homepage.
The new must-have? The bubble-couch. Originally designed by Mario Bellini (the Sofa Camaleonda), several models were created, inspired by the Italian architect. It seems like, right now every self-respecting influencer has a similar couch. From Emili Sindlev to Pernille Teisbaek, take a look at how fashion girls have furnished their homes with this new couch
