Gucci’s new creative director, Sabato De Sarno, creates something that we’ve never seen before.
To this end, the Gucci center was decorated with green carpets and burgundy crockery. There are many conflicting opinions here. Faux fur beaded necklaces on jackets; beaded handbags on evening dresses; crystal-embellished curtains over a black shirt and sparkly dress; fake flowers; boys’ pants; and button-down shirts. Accessories include a double G logo, a reincarnation of a 2003 tie bag, metal stilettos that are half the size of the original ’90s models, and a pair of vintage dials.
