Michael Kors brings us the Spring-Summer collection inspired by simplicity.
Presenting his collection in the second part of New York Fashion Week, Michael Kors is preparing a short film by Haley Anderson and starring American Idol winner Samantha Diaz. Stating that he has never experienced such a period in his 39-year career, the designer complains how much the epidemic affected the functioning. The fact that the workshops did not work in Italy meant that he would do the rehearsal process remotely and he would have trouble organizing virtual fashion shows.
The designer argues that his clothes will make you feel good as soon as they are worn. This season really emphasizes simplicity, although it never goes too far; Monochromatic looks, flat sandals, asymmetrical knitwear, skirts wrapped in pareo style … Michael Kors does not want everything to look like machine-made, so the designs with handcrafting stand out in the collection.
